After 2 years with PBS Group as Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Caribbean, Jason Corrigan has been promoted within the Facey Group to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Facey Telecom, which is undergoing significant transformation.
Jason has extensive experience and he will be leading the new Facey Telecom company, which has merged with Oceanic Communications Limited (OCL) and received a private equity investment from Portland Private Equity. Combined, the transactions will create an integrated logistics, distribution, electronic distribution and channel management business spanning the Caribbean, Central America and Asia Pacific.
Jason will be based in Jamaica, and will report directly to the Facey Group Chairman, Paul Scott.
As a result, Michael Lewis – General Manager of PBS Jamaica, has been promoted to the role of COO – Caribbean, effective July 16, 2019, and will oversee the PBS operations in Jamaica, Barbados – (OECS), Aruba, Curacao, Surinam, and Cayman.
Michael joined PBS Jamaica 5 years ago and has led the transformation of the Jamaica subsidiary, with significant improvements in the Sales, Service and Business Processes.
The company under Michael’s leadership expanded the portfolio of products and services offered by PBS in Jamaica and has also won several major deals. Apart of being very analytical, Michael is self-motivated and results oriented, while maintaining a very professional approach to people and business.
Michael’s challenge will be to replicate the success in Jamaica, throughout the other PBS affiliates, now under his care. He will report directly to me.
Please join me in congratulating Michael and Jason on their promotion and wish both, every success in their new roles.
With Warm Regards,
Pedro M. París C.
