Xerox and PBS Costa Rica presented Managed Print Services innovations

In an event attended by customers; PBS, Xerox and IDC (International company, leader in market intelligence) made alliance to unveil the most notable trends in Latin markets on managed services.

What are the priorities of IT in organizations in 2015?; Could printers play a leading role in innovation to the 3rd platform? ; What are the most important factors taken into account by companies when selecting a print service provider?; These and other questions were evacuated by international presenters: Luciano Crippa from and Martin Sharpe, from Xerox.

According to Xerox´s definition “Managed print services (MPS) are services offered by an external provider to optimize or manage a company’s document output. The main components provided are needs assessment, selective or general replacement of hardware, and the service, parts and supplies needed to operate the new and/or existing hardware (including existing third-party equipment if this is required by the customer). The provider also tracks how the printer, fax, copier and MFP fleet is being used, the problems, and the user’s satisfaction.” “

“Our interest is to know and share the market trends of managed print services, and also to position ourselves among as a leader provider of this system, through Xerox” commented Christian Sánchez General Manager of PBS Costa Rica.

According to IDC studies, Xerox is building the most robust infrastructure and market methodology. This is already being experienced in Costa Rica for more than 5 companies, including Alimentos Heinz. Sigifredo Castro, Manager of this company recounted their experience testimony and the benefits received by his colleagues.
